LIABILITIES AND DEPOSITS
The bank has shown great strength in terms of funding, which is highlighted by a great diversification of funding sources and an adequate level of liquidity.
At the end of 2017, the Bank had total liabilities of $170.4 million, similar to the balance at the end of 2016. Most of the funds are raise from local depositors through time deposits.
The equity position is adequate and provides an appropriate margin above the minimum required by the regulator when reporting in December 2017 a ratio of 20.3%. At the end of the 2017 financial year, the capital was $30.6 billion.
