In 2017, Ficohsa Remesas continued with its market tour strategy, to continue strengthening relations with remittance companies and encouraging different markets by visiting remittance companies located in San Francisco and San Jose, California.
Taking advantage of this tour, Ficohsa Remesas was invited to participate in the International Conference on Remittances in the Digital World, held in San Francisco, California. This conference focused on FinTech companies and their importance in the remittance industry.
As part of the growth strategy and in order to be able to serve a larger number of clients, in 2017 the payment of remittances was incorporated into TENGO, so now there is a network and a longer timetable of payment points. We also incorporate the B2P service (Business to person) with Transfast USA.
Always seeking to encourage our clients to open and deposit their remittances directly into their accounts at Banco Ficohsa, campaigns were carried out throughout the year, giving greater importance to Mother’s Day and Christmas.
As part of the social projection of Ficohsa Remesas, we once again support the Migraton that AHIBA organizes year after year, where more than 300 employees, this time from San Pedro Sula, were present to support the returning migrant to Honduras, where the funds raised from this activity are destined to help 5 migrants to create their own microenterprises.
